German Language Summer School

Within the scope of the German preparatory education program, students who are in the first year of the preparatory education, have fulfilled the attendance requirement and are in the top 100 in the success ranking as a result of the B2 level exam, are encouraged with a DAAD scholarship for the Germany summer course, which lasts an average of four weeks.
In our school, within the scope of the German preparatory education program in each academic year, students who are successful at the end of the B2 level (between the 1st and 4th modules) in the first year of the preparatory education and are among the top 100 according to the success ranking are determined according to the criteria stated below, starting from the 2023-2024 academic year:

  • The student must be successful at the B2 module (level) in the first year of the maximum duration of the German Preparatory Education Program (between the 1st and 4th modules),
  • The student must be successful at the B2 module (level) in one of the first 4 (four) modules within the scope of the German Preparatory Education Program in the first year,
  • The student must be currently registered at our university.
  • The student must have met the 80% attendance requirement in the B2 level, which he attended in his first year in the German Preparatory Education Program in the academic year at our School, and must have received at least 70 grades (points) from the B2 level exam,
  • The B2 level exam grades (scores) of the first 100 students are determined in order from highest to lowest.
  • In the case of students whose B2 level exam grades are equal in the top 100 rankings, their attendance to B2 module is taken into account and the student(s) who attend the B2 level German preparatory class courses the most are included in the top 100 student rankings, respectively.
  • For students whose B2 level exam grades and attendance at German preparatory classes are equal in the top 100 rankings, first of all the student whose previous level exam grade (B1) is higher, if the students' relevant level exam grades are equal, the student/students who attend their classes the most German preparatory class in the relevant course will be selected first.
  • In the first year of preparatory education, between the modules 1-4, students who repeat any of the A1, A2, B1 and B2 levels between courses are not included in the top 100 rankings.
